Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, old boleros and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in singing at 16, under the direction of renown Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. After 2000, she emigrated into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Alongside being a local performer and instructor, her love of art and music has her involved in a range of initiatives. Ana is a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
